Sarah Lesch is one of the great songwriters of the new German singer-songwriter scene. She refers to tradition, to "straight talking", but with a view and attitude in the present, in the future. With her three albums and countless concerts played, Sarah Lesch continues to constantly promote "less me, more us": her songs ask the right questions, reach out, offer help, become companions. With "Den Einsamen zum Troste", a selection of songs that accompany the artist herself through life has now been released.
The EP with interpretations of old pieces by Gerhard Schöne, Georg Danzer, Bastian Bandt and Konstantin Wecker and a never before released song by and with Dota Kehr was created during the ongoing work on Sarah Lesch's fourth album - "Der Einsamkeit zum Trotze" - which will be released in spring 2020.
